Next time you are at the farm, test your skills on the new trap shooting range in the back barnyard. To fit with the farm, the elevated range is set with two stations made of sunk, gravel filled tractor tires and completed with an automatic trap machine. During our May reunion, the family inaugurated the range with a fun shooting session . . . Rose is now being dubbed "The Crazy Bolivian" as she took down the first two clays she ever saw (we were sure to wipe her fingerprints off the gun afterwards). Test your skills with a few clays.
Explore the Ames Farm with a new challenge. Steve has set five geocaches in various places across the farm. Go to "geocaching" under "the farm" to learn more . . . and find your way to the treasure!!
The Ames Farm was featured in the new
"Hello Jamestown NY 2017" promo video
If you wanted to promote the wonderful things about the Jamestown area,
of course you would include images of the Ames Farm!
The producers at Jamestown Up Close did just that.
Check out minutes 2:19 and 4:16!
